Refund & Dispute Policy
Last updated: June 15, 2026
What you can get refunded, what you can't, and how to sort out a charge you think is wrong — in plain language.
1. The short version
We want you to pay only for what you meant to buy. If something went wrong with a charge, email accounts@autono.sh and we'll make it right where we reasonably can. The details below explain how refunds work for each kind of purchase, because they aren't all the same.
Nothing in this policy takes away a refund right you have under the law where you live — see Section 7.
2. Your Foundable subscription
The Foundable plan is billed monthly, in advance. You can cancel anytime from Account settings → Subscription (or by emailing us). When you cancel:
- Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for — we don't cut you off mid-month.
- We don't charge you again after that.
- We generally don't prorate or refund the current month, since you keep access for the rest of it.
That said, if you were charged by mistake— a renewal you thought you'd cancelled, a duplicate charge, or a plan you never used in the period — reach out within 14 daysof the charge and we'll review it and refund where it's fair. We'd rather keep you happy than keep a charge you didn't want.
3. Prepaid credits
Credit packs are one-time top-ups you buy up front and spend as Foundable does AI work for you. Because credits can be spent the moment they land — and that work costs us money in real time — purchased credits are generally non-refundable once they're added to your balance.
- If a top-up failed to apply, was charged twice, or clearly didn't work as described, email us — that's a mistake we'll fix.
- Unused credits sitting in your balance aren't cash and generally can't be cashed out, but we'll look at genuine edge cases individually.
4. Domains, ad spend, and other pass-through purchases
Some things you buy through Foundable aren't really ours to refund — we pass your money straight through to a third party, at cost, the moment you confirm:
- Domains— paid to the domain registrar. Registrations are final once the domain is registered; registrars don't reverse them.
- Advertising spend— paid to the ad network (for example, Meta) and spent showing your ads. Money already delivered to the ad network can't be clawed back.
These are non-refundableonce the purchase or spend has gone through, because we no longer hold the money. We'll always show you the cost before you commit to one of these.
5. How to ask for a refund
Email accounts@autono.sh from the email on your account, and include:
- The date and amount of the charge.
- Which purchase it was (subscription, a credit pack, a domain, ad spend).
- A sentence on what went wrong.
We aim to reply within 3 business days. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method through Stripe, our payment processor; once we issue it, your bank typically takes 5–10 business days to post it. For general help that isn't about a charge, you can also reach support@foundable.now.
6. Payment disputes and chargebacks
If you see a charge you don't recognize or think is wrong, please contact us first. We can almost always resolve it faster than your bank can — a refund from us usually beats a chargeback, which can take weeks.
If you do file a chargeback or dispute with your bank or card issuer:
- We respond to the dispute through Stripe with our records of the transaction and your account activity.
- We may pause new paid work on your account while the dispute is open, to avoid running up charges that are themselves in question.
- If a dispute is resolved in our favor but you genuinely should have been refunded, that path is still open — just email us.
We don't penalize anyone for raising a good-faith dispute. We just find it's almost always quicker to talk to us.
7. Your rights under the law
Depending on where you live, you may have refund or cancellation rights that can't be signed away — for example, statutory cooling-off or withdrawal rights for consumers in the EU, UK, and some other places. This policy doesn't limit any of those rights. Where the law gives you a stronger refund right than this page describes, the law wins.
8. Taxes on refunds
If a charge included tax and we refund it, we refund the tax along with it as required. How a refund shows up against tax already reported is handled through Stripe Tax. Tax questions about your own business are between you and your tax advisor — see our Terms of Service for the full fee and tax language.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product and our pricing evolve. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version, and material changes that affect existing customers are surfaced in-product and, where appropriate, by email. This page is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service.
